Communications

We help firms achieve meaningful growth in visibility, reputation and trust through high-performance communications.

Communications are one of the fastest moving elements of the promotional mix. Earned, owned, shared, and paid media channels continue to proliferate while audiences, though hyperconnected, paradoxically diverge at pace.

It is no longer a case of firms adding new communications channels to the promotional mix. Contemporary communications demand analysis and integration across all channel programmes to influence, engage and convert audiences of value.

Our view

A strong proposition will inevitably flatline without promotional support.

Communications are fundamentally concerned with how, when and where the offering should be made available to the market.

The challenge for professional firms is to build online visibility across the breadth of platforms in a way that promotes core organisational capabilities, drives sustainable growth and outperforms competitors.

How communications are managed, delivered and measured is a strategic marketing concern aimed at shaping perception and engagement while achieveing differential advantage. This creates an imperative to ensure communications integrate with wider marketing programmes, to optimise synergy, efficiency and impact.

Impact stories

Law firm PR campaign resulted in £750k fee income

We devised and led on a PR campaign for a law firm focused on a specific legal issue. We conducted a survey about the issue and shared the results along with our client’s expert insights. This was picked up by online and offline publications, leading to positive coverage and  commentary opportunities. We also placed articles expanding on the issue to support the key messages.

The campaign directly resulted in new work totalling £750k in fees and a 41% increase in branded search.

Internal comms project for national barristers chambers

We led an internal communications initiative to improve marketing buy in and engagement across the barristers’ set.

The aim was to improve understanding of the role of marketing within the chambers’ success and of the role of the individual in making marketing work.

We conducted initial stakeholder research and devised key messages and an internal online and offline comms plan including workshops, training and developing bespoke information resources.

We scored 96% ‘excellent’ in our end of project feedback survey.
